Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $20.49-$30.24/hr.

Location: Ridgeway, CO.

Job Description:

The Town of Ridgway is seeking to fill the position of Public Works Maintenance Operator I, II, or III.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an excellent benefit package. Current benefits include: Health insurance, including dental and vision, and retirement benefits.

The position is available to an individual to perform a variety of skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of town utility and public works service systems including streets, water transmission and wastewater collection and treatment, rights-of-ways, parking lots, bridges, storm drain systems and irrigation. The position also participates in the maintenance of town parks, buildings, and recreational facilities as needed. The successful candidate is expected to have the ability to perform independently at a high level and work exceptionally well in a team and community-focused environment.

A starting hourly rate of $20.49 to $22.72 is offered for the Public Works Maintenance Operator I role, depending on qualifications and experience. 

A starting hourly rate of $23.32 to $24.99 is offered for the Public Works Maintenance Operator II role, depending on qualifications and experience. 

A starting hourly rate of $27.27 to $30.24 is offered for the Public Works Maintenance Operator III role, depending on qualifications and experience.
