They offer a range of manufactured concrete products, including burial vaults, monuments, lawn crypts, columbarium niches, septic tanks, retaining walls, storm shelters, and agricultural precast products. They also have a construction division that installs lawn crypts, columbarium niches, and mausoleums in cemeteries across the United States. Furthermore, their veteran memorial division assists in the design, development, and funding of memorial projects for communities, civic organizations, and private cemeteries. The company operates manufacturing plants, warehouses, monument production facilities, a casket manufacturing plant, and nine crematories. Their monument division produces granite memorials and markers, custom granite signage, and engraved brick pavers, and they also engage in wholesale monument sales.

Job Description:

The Waste Water Service Technician is responsible for servicing septic tanks and pump systems in the surrounding area. They are expected to have basic knowledge of minor electrical wiring and plumbing and be capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing problems in septic tanks and pump systems. The technician will interact with homeowners, engineers, and contractors, providing customer support and explaining individual onsite systems as needed. They must adhere to safety regulations, produce detailed service reports, and maintain a clean and stocked work truck and service area. The technician should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and be willing to take classes for industry knowledge and certification. Safe usage of power tools is also required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess basic knowledge of minor electrical wiring and plumbing.
  • Read electrical meters to measure ohms and amperage.
  • Troubleshoot minor single-phase electrical issues.
  • Diagnose and repair problems in septic tanks, and pump systems, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits.
  • Safely operate a vehicle and utilize field automation systems.
  • Contact and interact with homeowners, engineers, and contractors.
  • Explain individual onsite systems with training.
  • Keep work truck and service area clean and stocked.
  • Work comfortably outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Willingness to take classes for industry knowledge and certification.
  • Adhere to OSHA safety regulations.
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports.
  • Safely use power tools.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Capability to drive up to a 150-mile radius in a company vehicle, which may include overnight stays.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to read and follow directions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Team player with a customer service orientation.
