Winsupply of Cañon City, a leading supplier of wholesale plumbing, HVAC, irrigation supplies for residential and commercial construction, is seeking qualified candidates for our Warehouse Delivery Driver position.

Warehouse Worker Delivery Driver

  • Compensation: Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour, overtime paid in accordance with state and federal labor laws
  • Profit Sharing: This position will be eligible for the profit-sharing plan determined annually. This BONUS program generally yields at least an annual bonus of $1500.00 or more for employees that meet the requirements to receive bonus pay

  • Vacation: Employees are eligible to accumulate 10 days paid vacation per year for the first 5 years of employment. At five years employment employees can earn up to 15 days paid vacation per year

Warehouse Worker Delivery Driver Job Summary:

Warehouse work will encompass an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Deliveries will include pick up and drop off of items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.

Warehouse Worker Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Open bales, crates and other containers
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
  • May also assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Prepare parcels for shipment via UPSP, UPS, FEDEX, LTL, or company delivery trucks
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, sweep, dust and mop.
  • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Wear the proper safety equipment
  • Accepting payments for delivered items
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Warehouse Worker Delivery Driver Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state of Colorado
  • Clean driving record
  • The ability to pass drug tests
  • 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred but not required if you’re motived to learn
  • Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
  • Dependable and Reliable
  • Data entry and computer skills required

Warehouse Worker Delivery Driver Physical Demands and Abilities:

  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms as well as talk hear
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100lbs using the proper equipment
  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Occasionally required to climb up to 6’ using proper equipment and balance
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
