Job Description
HRRMC's Materials Department has a full-time (40 hours per week, working Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm) opening as a stores clerk. Summary
Receives, issues and stores equipment, material, supplies, and merchandise; compiles computerized stock records to maintain storeroom by performing the following duties
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be able to drive in all weather conditions.
Salary is based on years of experience and will range from $16.96 to $21.32 per hour. Additional experience may be granted based on experience.
All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a negative drug screen test*, criminal background check, reference checks, infection prevention procedures (Proof of COVID vaccinations prior to onboarding, TB test, Flu Shot, immunization records, etc.), physical capacity profile and acknowledgement of policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES PER AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. Fills orders or issues supplies from stock, to every department
2. Updates and maintains computerized inventory and other stock records as orders are filled.
3. Makes adjustments to articles in stock, then makes corrections in the computer.
4. Maintains all order sheets; keeps updates current in the computer system and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
5. Updates department order sheets with correct catalog/item number and the same format for all departments.
6. Examines stock to verify any damage. Returns damaged items if able, and notifies supervisor of damages.
7. Stores articles in bins, or on shelves according to appropriate location, properly labeling all client chargeable items.
8. Marks identifying codes on items, either for patient chargeable or stock.
9. Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments, with proper body mechanics and equipment usage.
10. Checks in daily deliveries and places items in proper location in warehouse.
11. Keeps dock clear of empty boxes and in a neat orderly fashion.
12. Checks equipment that is brought to central stores for repair. Notifies Maintenance for pick up.
13. Prepare packages for shipment from other departments and notifies supervisor of personal items attempting to be shipped. Puts packing slips in folder for accounts payable. Delivers packing slips to accounts payable each week. Maintains UPS and Federal Express books.
14. Learn and perform duties of other positions in the Materials Management department to provide coverage for PTO, sick days, and other understaffed scenarios.
15. Performs outdate checks.
16. Organize warehouse.
17. Performs cycle counts and report results to Materials Manager.
18. Decanting cardboard.
19. Other duties assigned by manager.
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year related experience and/or training in a hospital general stores setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
