Job Description:

Program Requirements

  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Complete the 35-hour Victim Advocate Training Academy
  • Go on a ride-along with a Police Officer
  • Shadow an experienced victim advocate
  • Commit to four on-call shifts a month (12 hours each)
  • Attend a two-hour educational/debriefing meeting each month
  • Commit to a minimum of one year of service
  • Have reliable transportation and current insurance
  • Be at least 21 years old
