Job Description
Kenline Veterinary Clinic is a busy, growing Canon City veterinary clinic that has proudly served Freemont County for over 65 years. We love our highly skilled long-term doctors and staff, many lifelong clients, and adorable pet patients that come in all shapes and sizes.
We’re continuing to grow our front desk client service team and need someone that can confidently deliver exceptional customer service. You are responsible for making a good impression on clients before and after every appointment, building positive long-term relationships with our clients, handling inbound and outbound calls, responding to emails, accessing multiple dashboards and applications, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, checking clients in and out, coordinating records with other hospitals, refilling prescriptions, answering basic pet health questions, documenting client conversations in the medical records, and keeping the lobby stocked and organized.
The following skills are necessary to succeed:
- Quickly learning (or already knowing) veterinary terminology and protocols
- Professional communication with people via phone/text/in-person, including people experiencing a medical crisis.

- Multi-tasking including juggling multiple inbound calls and conversations in a switchboard like atmosphere
- Anticipating needs of clients, staff, and doctors
