Position Summary:

A Vendor Go-to-Market (GTM) Launch Manager ensures the successful launch of new vendors at Pax8. They act as a liaison between Pax8 and the vendor, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure that the vendor can quickly and effectively integrate and launch with Pax8 and begin selling their products or services. The Manager plays a significant role in growing vendor revenue for Pax8. They also support vendor partners by spearheading vendor pipeline management, tracking and ingesting market development funds (MDF), completing churn analysis, and maintaining vendor contracts.

The ideal candidate for the Vendor GTM Launch Manager role should possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a strong understanding of vendor management and onboarding best practices. They should be highly organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once. Additionally, they should be data-driven and able to analyze vendor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary stakeholder for the vendor during the onboarding and launch
  • Develop and execute onboarding plans for new vendors that are tailored to their unique needs and capabilities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Engineering, to ensure that new vendors are integrated seamlessly into the platform and launch successfully into the Pa8 ecosystem
  • Provide ongoing support and coordinate training to new vendors to ensure that they can effectively use the platform and meet their performance goals
  • Monitor vendor performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization and work with the vendor to implement solutions with pipeline reviews and assessment of actuals against target
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to foster long-term partnerships and drive continued growth for the company
  • Gather feedback from vendors to identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process, platform functionality, and overall vendor experience
  • Maintain weekly reporting of vendor trial emails, vendor sales tracking reports, vendor performance tier attainment, usage declines, etc. 
  • Work cross-functionally with vendor aligned groups to – Deliver meaningful updates from the Vendor Business Group to deliver to keep everyone informed about new vendors, product releases, and other important information
  • Maintain vendor collateral on internal and external pages, such as the company website, to ensure that information about the vendor is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible. This helps to showcase the vendor's products and services, and ultimately drives sales
  • Highlight the efficacy of MDF to vendors and internal stakeholders, demonstrating how these funds are being used to drive demand for the vendor's products and services, and ultimately generate revenue for the company
  • Ensure that contracted margins with vendors are maintained, requiring a deep understanding of the vendor's business model and pricing structure, as well as strong negotiation skills.
  • By maintaining these margins, the VSM helps to ensure that the company can achieve its revenue goals while still providing value to the vendor

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least seven (7) years of experience in the technology sector, with experience of vendors (ISVs)
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a sales and/or business development role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Teams, SharePoint, and Salesforce
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. They should be able to articulate complex ideas clearly, listen actively, and build strong relationships with their counterparts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing support of vendors.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Comfortable working with data, including vendor performance metrics, sales data, and market trends, to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Prioritize the needs and goals of vendors while also considering the impact on the company's overall business objectives
  • Project Management Skills: Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project goals and timelines
  • Adaptability: Adapt to changing business needs and market conditions, shifting priorities as needed to support the success of the company and its vendors Ability to navigate alternatives and is an expert at getting things done

Required Education & Certifications: B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $105,000 or more depending on experience 

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
