ABOUT THE ROLE
The Utility Operator safely and efficiently performs a variety of tasks and equipment operation to assist the
needs of the facility.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment
• Perform unloading functions
• Assist with general mechanical maintenance
• Other duties as assigned.

• environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these
• behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School diploma/GED; The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s degree in a
mechanical, electrical or a related field Required Work Experience: 1 -3 years of heavy equipment operating in a heavy manufacturing environment
Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of processing methods and appropriate planning techniques. Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Travel Requirements: Local travel throughout n/a.
Additional Requirements:
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance background; welding
• experience desired
• Autonomous, meticulous, exercises good judgment
• Ability to work well on their own and in a team environment
• Experience in the operation of heavy equipment
• The candidate must be flexible regarding his/her work schedule
• Knowledge of cement, the construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
