Job Type: Part time, Hourly

Wage: $900/hr.

Location: Trinidad, CO.

Job Description:

Trinidad State College (TSC) is hiring adjunct instructors. Part-time adjunct instructor positions at TSC are responsible for creating and maintaining a teaching and learning environment that empowers students to be successful. Adjunct instructors work under the direction of the Academic Dean. Pay is $900 per credit hour. 
 
 TSC maintains a pool of qualified part-time adjunct instructors. Part-time instructors will be selected to support departmental requirements. Part-time instructors may be employed to teach courses, conduct presentations, or other service activities when current instructors and faculty are not available.


 Currently looking for instructors to teach in the following subjects:

  • Business 
  • Cosmetology 
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Education
  • English Composition
  • History
  • Humanities
  • Literature
  • Math
  • Music appreciation
  • Theatre appreciation
  • Psychology / Sociology

  • Instruct students in an active teaching-learning environment
  • Effective communication with students and external agencies
  • Maintenance of student enrollment and performance records
  • Opportunity for participation in faculty meetings and professional development

Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a State of Colorado resident or able to relocate to Colorado prior to first date of employment
  • Master’s degree in subject matter field, or any Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline to be taught
  • For CTE programs, must be able to obtain/hold Colorado Credential
  • Comfortable navigating the challenges of teaching
  • Ability to demonstrate or articulate a commitment to serving all students
