Job Description:
The coordinator will be responsible for the grant funded State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (STEPP) for Fremont County Department of Public Health and Environment in Fremont County. Administers the county-level grant work by ensuring execution of deliverables, budget, required reporting to inform their work and ensure compliance with funder requirements. Responsible for leading and performing tobacco use education and prevention efforts by implementing evidence-based strategies, provide education, build awareness around substance-related health disparities and participating in policy development that influence tobacco use. This position may also be responsible for developing and implementing programs for effective utilization of related grants/programs at FCDPHE.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare field, and (2) two years of experience in a health care setting, preferably with tobacco cessation or care management; or a combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
Valid Colorado Driver's License required.
