Mid-May through Mid-August, 2025

The Beach Restaurant & Bar is hiring for two positions for summer 2025 (mid-May through late August).

We share a riverside property with River Runners, a whitewater rafting company, but The Beach runs the food and beverage operation with daily public restaurant service, plus private events and concerts throughout the summer. Employees are expected to perform all functions with the possibility of specializing in front-of-house or back-of-house duties. Applicants should be willing to work closely with others in a team-oriented culture. The Riverside Grill is mostly an outdoor location so be prepared to move around and be outside.

Front-of-House Position
Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a drawer for the till
• Staying organized and clean
• Computer operation skills
• Basic POS system use
• Running credit cards
• Daily computer report closing
• Deposit duties
• Counting cash
• Running side work
• Dishes and busing tables
• Helping customers
• Keeping water jugs full (must be able to carry 50 pounds)
• Moving batch drinks
• Pouring drinks
• Changing kegs
• Stocking retail items
• Keeping customers happy and the atmosphere clean and fun
• Helping set up and work private events
• Take out the trash
• Help receive food and drink orders
• Maintain a professional atmosphere and be a team player

Back of House Position:
Responsibilities:

• Make simple recipes from scratch including salsas, fish tacos, salads, etc.
• Cook quick service items
• Set up plates, expo, and run food
• Cleanliness
• Keeping water jugs full (must be able to carry 50 pounds)
• Break down boxes
• Dish duties
• Bus tables
• Putting away the food and drink order
• Maintaining a kitchen prep area offsite from the tiki bar
• Sweeping and moping floors
• Ability to move a keg with a dolly
• Trash duties
• Outdoor setup and tear-down duties for events
