Are you responsible and independent? Are you well organized and able to work quickly and thoroughly with skill? If this sounds like you, then Maintenance Technician Supervisor may be the role for you.

As a Maintenance Technician Supervisor, you will be playing a direct role in keeping our customers connected to our network. By managing a team of technicians who maintain and repair the wires that provide all of our services from our hub sites to the connection points outside the customer’s home, you will be providing 24/7 coverage to our growing network.

With the support of your team and peer organizations like Construction and Inside Plant Operations, you will be able to ensure our network is maintained and working optimally. Your work will ensure the delivery of our services in a direct and invaluable way.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications & Education :

Associate’s degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent work experience, industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)

Experience :

Construction and/or maintenance of optical and coax distribution networks or equivalent work experience of at least 4 years

Technical Skills :

Advanced knowledge of Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) Distribution Network, moderate knowledge of IP networks, Headend Operations, and Customer Premise

Network Skills :

Well organized, ability to use basic computer software

Abilities :

Able to use hand tools, work outside for long periods of time and travel inclement weather conditions, operate appropriate computer or text equipment

Schedule :

Hours would be determined by business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory of leadership experience of at least 1 year
  • Demonstrated leadership skills

The pay for this position has a salary range of $67,100.00 to $107,300.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
