Supervises and assumes responsibility for personnel in assigned area; seeing all duties are completed in a satisfactory manner. Provides leadership to all aspects of the patient care programs in the nutrition services department. Responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction in the cafeteria, catering and patient services areas. Identifies opportunities to increase revenue in catering and cafeteria. Implements quality improvement initiatives and reports progress to leadership.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• High School diploma or GED
• Culinary Arts degree or equivalent education preferred
• Two years of experience in food service industry or related experience – Dining formal and casual hospitality
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong Computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office programs
• Previous food service leadership experience preferred
• Experience with Food Service Operations database and Dietetic software, preferred
• Food Service Safe Certification, preferred

Light Work - exert/lift up to lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently)
