Job Description:
Florence Jr/Sr High School is seeking a dedicated and organized Summer School Coordinator to oversee the implementation of the district’s online Credit Recovery Program for students in grades 9–12, as well as in-person tutoring for current 7th and 8th grade students. This individual will support student learning through proactive monitoring, communication, and assistance with technology needs to ensure student success during the summer session.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and guide the implementation of Summer Credit Recovery and Middle School Tutoring.
Approve and enroll high school students in summer credit recovery courses.
Monitor student progress in the Credit Recovery Platform, logging in regularly to ensure active participation.
Maintain consistent communication with Credit recovery students to ensure full participation
Provide technical support by coordinating with district tech staff or technical support.
Communicate regularly with students and parents/guardians regarding progress, grades, and support needs.
Compile and report summer school data to the Executive Director of Educational Services
Verify tutoring logs/timesheets and send them to the Exective Director of Educational Services by the 15th June, July, and August.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Colorado Teaching License or other relevant professional certification.
Proficiency in eLearning platforms and online learning environments.
Strong technology skills across multiple platforms.
Ability to compile, analyze, and report student data effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and families.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current Administrative License or actively working toward licensure.

Compensation & Work Schedule:
Term: May 18 – July 31, 2025 (44 days)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3-4 hours/day
Pay: $40/hour + PERA
