Job Description

Job Type: Seasonal, Hourly

Wage: $14.55- $16.20/hr.

Location: Florence, CO.

Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be motivated to work and show up on time
  • Must be physically able to do a variety of maintenance tasks involving lifting, pushing, pulling, digging and twisting
  • Must have knowledge and ability to operating machinery
  • Must be able to work out of doors from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Must be able to get along with district certified and classified employees and students
  • Must have transportation or a means to get to and from work
  • Successful completion of all mandated criminal background screenings and fingerprinting required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • 9-hour workday, four days per week
  • Work in Florence and Penrose on school property
  • Perform any tasks assigned by the Maintenance Department

SALARY BENEFITS:

  • Salary according to the Classified Salary Schedule summer contract
  • Health Insurance according to the Classified Handbook
  • PERA and Medicare and Disability
  • Leave days and vacation leave according to Classified Handbook
