Position Summary:

The Senior Channel Events Specialist organizes the success of logistics for the Channel Events Channel Programs. They provide guidance and act as a mentor to other Channel Events Specialists and train new team members. The Senior Specialist manages and builds relationships with partners and internal cross-functional teams while presenting results and adhering to budget guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to assist with the Pax8 internal inventory logistics. As well as oversee the stocking, packing, shipping, and tracking of Pax8 events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Manage the relationship with partners, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Value Added Resellers (VARs), vendors and industry partner association groups.
  • Coordinate event planning, merchandise logistics, internal and external communication with key stakeholders.
  • Travel to Channel events to present on behalf of Pax8, conduct booth sessions, and coordinate other event activities and logistics.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key metrics and event results.
  • Mentor, coach, and guide other team members; serve as point of escalation.
  • Train new team members on best practices, processes, and behaviors.
  • Adhere to budget guidelines.
  • Provide input to create, adjust, and refine best practice for the Sales and Marketing team; develop and nurture relationships with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Fill in gaps during high event season.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in marketing or sales
  • At least two (2) years of directly relevant experience; event production, event operations or trade show experience
  • At least two (2) years of proven event logistics experience
  • Proven presentation skills required for Channel events
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Wrike Excel preferred
  • Self-motivated, strategic creative worker with a drive for executional excellence
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Creative thinker and problem solver – always looking beyond the available options when up against roadblocks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional organization
  • Experience learning and navigating within a high-growth and fast paced environment
  • Ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals
  • Ability to develop and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Compensation: Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $76,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
