Job Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $19+ Hourly Depending On Experience

Location: Float between Salida & Leadville Branches (Will be paid for mileage)

General Purpose

This position is responsible to provide professional and exemplary customer service to our bank customers by processing deposits and paying out funds in accordance with bank procedures, promoting and cross selling financial products and services, including but not limited to depository, investment, loan and trust products. Manages the customer relationship to include identification, prospecting and cross selling our products. Actively pursues potential new customers using effective selling techniques that creates interest and follow through to obtain the business.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

¨ Comply with requirements of Signature Banking

¨ Processing deposits and pay out funds in accordance with bank procedures

¨ Assists customers with personal and business accounts, while promoting and selling additional products and services. Displays knowledge and proficiency in administering the bank’s products while building long-term customer relationships

¨ Sells and promotes a variety of deposit products and services to customers. Actively pursues potential customers using effective selling techniques that create interest and follow through to obtain the business

¨ Directly assist customers with loan requests for a variety of consumer loans

¨ Basic understanding of safe deposit rules and regulations. May be required to open new safe deposit accounts and allow customers’ access to Safe Deposit Boxes, if applicable

¨ Process loan payments, prepare and verify cashiers checks, process night drop deposits, process Travelers Cheques and redeem Savings Bonds

¨ Analyze and identify possible money laundering activity in accordance with anti-money laundering guidelines

¨ Balancing assigned cash drawer daily within the established guidelines, reporting any differences Balancing the vault, coin machine or cash dispense machine when applicable

¨ Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education

¨ Successful completion of High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate

Experience

 One year of accurate cash handling.

¨ One year customer experience.

¨ One year of sales experience.

¨ Telephone, telephone headset, fax machine, scanner and copier

¨ Calculator and 10-key

¨ Branch captured machine and scanner.

¨ Document encoder, currency counter, and coin sorter
