Job Description:

Under the direction of the Undersheriff, the Sheriff’s Office Finance Administrator centralizes and administers financial activities for Patrol, Dispatch, Detention, Records, Co-Response, and Court Security. The position coordinates accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, billing, budget administration, detention-related funds and transactions, grants, contracts, procurement, and capital purchases.

The position establishes and maintains standardized financial protocols, records, and tracking processes to strengthen accuracy, accountability, internal controls, and efficiency across Sheriff’s Office divisions. The Finance Administrator works closely with Sheriff’s Office personnel, County Finance, auditors, vendors, grant agencies, and detention partners and safeguards confidential and sensitive financial information. 

This is a full-time, non exempt position with an hourly wage range of $26.93 to $33.67, DOQ.
