Position Summary:

The ServiceNow Product Manager works closely with other Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to help define a roadmap that delivers value for both customers and the business while developing the vision and strategy for the product. They use techniques such as design thinking, user testing, and experimentation to generate insights to have a general understanding of our business and customers. The Product Manager solves both user and business problems pragmatically through short incubation and frequent iteration. They prioritize enhancements that will have the greatest impact, create basic product artifacts, and participates in iterating on product processes.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Works with diverse groups of stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize product features that drive world class customer experience and articulate them with agile epics and user stories
  • Collaborates closely with business stakeholders across the organization to plan the right product improvements at the right time to meet a demonstrated business need
  • Distills vision and strategy into an actionable, resolutely focused roadmap that bolts into business objectives and key results (OKRs) while collaborating with leadership.
  • Socializes and advocates the roadmap
  • Prioritizes work streams and guides execution to maximize our growth, speed-to-market, and value. Ideates, writes clear stories, refines, removes blockers, performs UAT, and iterates
  • Communicates product strategy with cross-functional teams so they can effectively execute to maximize our growth, speed-to-release, and value and guides trade-off decisions
  • Understands internal and external customers’ needs and trends by being a subject matter expert in the ServiceNow platform
  • Owns and drives strategy for the adoption and localization of the ServiceNow platform into each region
  • Applies design and product thinking to the ServiceNow platform in our current and future markets
  • Works closely with UX to generate insights from qualitative and quantitative data about users and features
  • Tracks progress against OKRs and understands product performance at a feature level

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in product management or an equivalent role
  • Basic understanding of how APIs and cloud services work
  • Scrupulous about value for the business; ability to articulate how and why a feature is expected to impact business objectives and what potential ROI may be
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and problem-solve with diverse people in different parts of the organization
  • Solid experience leading and understanding of software delivery process, analytics best practice and tools, and website design principles
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can adapt to rapidly changing situations Data-driven by nature with ability to make decisions
  • Track record of defining and delivering enhancements that drive outcomes
  • Keen design sense and strong empathy with our customers and vendors
  • Ability to ask insightful questions, push on assumptions, and detail oriented
  • Ability to work with some autonomy and minimal guidance with a bias to action

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Professional certifications in ServiceNow (CSA), or other related credentials

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to Pax8’s main office, external partners, and conventions

Compensation: Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $90,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
