The Boulders (Buena Vista, CO) is seeking a Service Manager with a high level of customer service experience and facilities management/maintenance for this property. The perfect candidate would be a problem-solver, have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment that still has a lot of construction going on.
General purpose of this position: Be an active participant in keeping this community a desirable place for residents to live, and for team members to work and take pride in.
Other vital responsibilities include:
- managing support staff
- reporting to, and acting under the direction of the Property Manager, Regional Vice President and/or Vice President.
Preferred candidate has:
- A minimum of three years' experience in apartment or related maintenance; supervisory experience needed.
- General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry is required.
- Hand tools to perform the general duties listed above are required.
- Good communication skills in dealing with employees, residents, contractors, and vendors are necessary.
- Knowledge of budget costs and pricing is required.
- Proven ability to supervise, schedule and direct maintenance personnel is required.
- Neat, clean, well-groomed appearance with no visible tattoos; ask for a copy of the dress code.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with residents, supervisor, employees and vendors.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Valid Driver's License.
