Job Description

The Faricy Boys Salida is currently looking for a qualified automotive Service Advisor to help serve our customers. If you are a positive, motivated and top performing individual that desires to have earnings that reflect your experience, effort and performance, then we would love to speak with you about the opportunity. A lot of dealerships ask for integrity from their employees, we live it from the dealer principal down.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling additional needed service to customers. The Service Advisor/Consultant is the dealership's first-line customer-relations and service representative.

Specific duties for the Automotive Service Advisor include:

  • Schedules service appointments.
  • Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains information.
  • Document customer concerns.
  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Checks on progress of repair throughout the day.
  • Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.

  • Must have valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
