Job Type: Part time, Hourly

Wage: $10.63/hr. 

Location: Penrose, CO.

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced server / bartender for full-service restaurant and bar. Hours are Monday-Sunday 9am - 9pm depending upon shift (about 5-6 hours each shift) Set tables, take orders, serve food/drinks to guests, host, take reservations/phone orders, buss tables, and provide excellent service and ensure quality control. Maintains cleanliness and order in dining/serving areas, and bathrooms. Ensures tickets are accurate and obtains payment.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide professional, responsive, and friendly beverage food service to guests

· Demonstrate complete and accurate knowledge of the full menu, wine and drink list, and specials

· Be attentive to guest’s needs, circulate the room as needed, and respond quickly. Always be ready to take food and beverage orders with the handheld POS tablets on hand

· Spot opportunities to offer suggestions for beverages, refill empty glasses, and up-sell to increase sales

· Use good judgment and discretion when serving alcohol. Only adults 21+ are allowed to drink alcohol – card anyone who looks younger than 40 years old

· Handle complaints with professionalism and tact, or escalate to manager

· Maintain a safe and clean environment throughout service

· Ensure all guests are accurately charged for their bills, and payment (cash, check, or credit) is received.

· Perform thorough opening and closing procedures as identified on the coinciding checklist.

· Follow all Health Safety policies and F&B procedures standards

Requirements

· Cash management with the ability to reconcile daily sales/payments/close drawers

· Full knowledge of menu/sauces, mixed drinks, wines, beers, etc.

· Ability to mix drinks and prepare a variety of cocktails

· Pleasant, respectful, and professional when communicating with others

· Commitment to delivering exceptional service – courteous and friendly

· Commitment to teamwork and cooperation

· Contribute to a positive work environment and demonstrate a positive attitude

· Work in an efficient manner while managing multiple tasks and priorities

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with staff and guests.
