Position Summary:
The Sr. Vendor Alliances Manager manages relationships with key vendor partners, oversees the delivery of vendor-related initiatives, and assists Vendor Alliance Managers. They play a significant role in growing vendor revenue for Pax8, spearheading the overall vendor experience, and guiding the newer Vendor Alliance Managers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Mentor, lead by example, and help develop other Vendor Alliances Managers to achieve results.
- Lead the occasional team meeting and cover for teammates when out of the office.
- Consistently uplift team morale and encourage open communication, making a positive impact on team culture.
- Develop and implement vendor partnership strategies to achieve profitable revenue growth.
- Ensure vendors are meeting performance and service level expectations.
- Continuously work with assigned vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate margins, and bring any product or service-related concerns to a conclusion.
- Increase MSP referrals/leads from assigned vendors.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and deliver sales enablement efforts into company offerings.
- Continuously monitor industry developments and trends, while identifying new vendor opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between vendor initiatives and company goals.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key vendor partners and stakeholders.
- Track vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs.
- Regularly perform vendor on-site visits and provide feedback to vendors on product sales alignment.
- Assist in driving sales alignment against the vendor’s organizational objectives.
- Spearhead the representation (sales materials, documents, GTM messaging, etc.) of your assigned vendors across the Pax8 Marketplace.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least five (5) years of experience in Pax8 or Channel Sales with at least one (1) year of experience in a Vendor Alliance Management role.
- Knowledge and understanding of sales strategies, Salesforce and PowerBI.
- Offers valuable perspectives on the Market and can deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Brings solutions to challenges/issues and is an expert at getting things done.
- Exceptional and proven customer relation skills.
- High level of organization, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to apply knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.
- Desire to go above and beyond to move the business forward.
Required Education Certifications: B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Compensation: Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $110,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
