Position Summary:

The Senior Salesforce Administrator is an expert in managing and optimizing Salesforce systems and products. They are responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, as well as ensuring the security and integrity of the system. They also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Salesforce administrators and developers, and collaborate with business stakeholders and users to gather, analyze, and document requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, validation rules, triggers, and reports.
  • Manage and maintain the security and integrity of the Salesforce system, including user profiles, roles, permissions, sharing rules, and groups.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Salesforce administrators and developers.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and users to gather, analyze, and document requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and provide end-user support for Salesforce applications.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and functionality of Salesforce systems and products.
  • Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends and implement them as needed.
  • Create and maintain documentation and training materials for Salesforce users and administrators.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a Salesforce Administration role, with a strong track record of defining and delivering successful enhancements.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to articulate the impact of product features on business objectives, ROI, and value.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including potential system implications of changes.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to rapidly changing environments.
  • Highly data-driven, making decisions based on insights and analytics.
  • Strong design sense and a deep understanding of customer and vendor needs.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to ask insightful questions and challenge assumptions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take decisive action with minimal guidance.
  • Worked in multiple Salesforce orgs with over 800+ users.
  • Proficient in SFDC Development Cycle Proficient with Salesforce Flows
  • Experience with Declarative Apex Code Proficient in SOQL, SAQL, LWC
  • Experience with 3rd party integrations desired. E.g. Marketo, Chorus, Outreach, ReachDesk, HighSpot

Required Education Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Professional certifications in Salesforce (CSA), or other related credentials is desired

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to Pax8’s main office, external partners, and conventions

Compensation: Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $105,000 or more depending on experience

Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
