Position Summary:

The Senior Data Management Analyst is responsible for driving data quality improvements to enable increased accuracy in reporting and scorecards to drive improve decision making across the business. They will work on assessments of existing implementations and advise on structural improvements in performance, usability and processes. The Analyst requires a combination of technical and business skills, as well as experience working with large, complex data sets and promoting a data-driven culture across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction, clarity and guidance on policy, process, master data, reference data, data dictionary standards, and template usage
  • Designs and implements data mart structures to support the organization's data management needs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide recommendations for data-driven solutions
  • Ensures data integrity and accuracy through the use of quality control processes and tools
  • Mentors and trains team members on best practices
  • Defines and organizes the implementation of data marts for multiple domains in collaboration with the data stakeholders and data engineering team
  • Coordinates and ensures the governance of the data attributes
  • Stays up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to data management
  • Conducts data quality assessments and data quality monitoring
  • Partners with key business stakeholders and the data engineering team to help prioritize data improvement and data management projects

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least five (5) years of experience with Metadata/Data dictionaries management including technical/business content and data lineage
  • At least five (5) years of experience with Data Quality Assessments and Data Quality monitoring
  • At least five (5) years of experience with data analytics technology
  • Experience with multiple analytics tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau
  • Experience in data mapping and data profiling
  • Global experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal/team effectiveness.
  • Ability to succinctly and accurately communicate to various levels of management and employees
  • Ability to think from an overall “best for the business” perspective
  • Business knowledge for building use-case based datasets with business unit owners

Required Education Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Certified in data analytics, data management or similar

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $95,000 or more depending on experience 

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
