Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic Total Rewards team. As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our compensation programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analyses of compensation data, evaluating market trends, and making recommendations to ensure our compensation strategies are competitive and aligned with organizational objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Job Evaluation and Salary Structure:
    • Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking to create and maintain accurate salary ranges, structures, and job architecture across various job families and levels.
    • Analyze and interpret salary survey data, market trends, and competitive practices to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness of compensation programs.
    • Recommend adjustments to salary ranges/structures, and architecture based on market data, industry standards, and organizational goals.
  • Compensation Analysis and Planning:
    • Conduct comprehensive analysis of compensation data for current employees as well as M&A integrations, including base pay, incentives, bonuses, and equity, to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement; summarizes potential costs and makes recommendations.
    • Analyze compensation-related metrics, such as pay equity, pay for performance, and cost projections, and provide insights and recommendations to drive decision-making.
    • Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to develop annual compensation budgets, forecasts, and long-term projections.
  • Compensation Programs:
    • Administer compensation programs, including annual focal salary increases, incentive plans, bonus structures, and equity programs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our compensation programs are aligned with IPO requirements, including disclosure obligations, equity plan considerations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with Employee Experience Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to educate and advise managers and employees on compensation-related matters, policies, and programs.
    • Prepare and deliver clear and concise presentations, reports, and communications to senior leadership and executive teams.
    • Support the development and delivery of compensation training programs and materials to enhance understanding and awareness among managers and employees.
  • Compensation Strategy:
    • Support the development and implementation of compensation strategies, policies, and programs that support the organization's overall business objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
    • Collaborate with senior management to understand their compensation needs and provide guidance on best practices, market trends, and industry benchmarks.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Proven experience as a Compensation Analyst or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in compensation analysis and program design.
  • Global and M&A experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, salary survey analysis, and market benchmarking.
  • Proficiency in using compensation survey tools (e.g., MarketPay), HRIS systems, and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex compensation concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of curiosity, urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
  • Ability to secure and deploy resources effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear

Required Education Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar are a plus.

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $91,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
