QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Colorado Teaching License
  • Meet quality standards for Secondary Physical Education
  • Strong background in Secondary Physical Education
  • Experience in working with students
  • Strong student management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fremont RE-2 School District secondary teachers demonstrate knowledge of literacy and mathematics. They demonstrate and develop pedagogical expertise in their content/endorsement area(s). They establish a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for a diverse population of students. Teachers plan and deliver effective instruction by creating an environment that facilitates student learning. They use data to drive instructional practices and provide students with feedback. Teachers demonstrate professionalism through ethical conduct, reflection, and leadership. They develop strong relationships with families, students, and colleagues.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • 161-day contract / 8.5-hour day / 4-day school week
  • Salary according to Master Agreement
  • Can accept up to 15 years of outside experience
  • Heath insurance according to the Master Agreement
  • PERA, Medicare Life Insurance Leave days according to the Master Agreement
