Position Summary: Under the direction of the Parks Foreman, provide customer service to all guests, monitor guests while inside the facility and assist with the cleanliness of facility area.

· Monitor guests as they enter and exit the Splash Pad.

· Monitor guests during their utilization of splash pad and enforce safety rules and guidelines.

· Assist patrons with questions and/or concerns; assist in incidents and/or accidents.

· Monitor facility for trash and debris and perform appropriate cleanup and disinfection.

· Regularly check pool chemical levels and document readings.

· Enforce established policy and procedures throughout the facility.

· Provides excellent customer service to external and internal customers including but not limited to effectively listening and communicating, providing accurate information, offering solutions, assisting in resolution, and ensuring timely follow up as needed.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: The following duties, although not essential to the position, are important components to the smooth and efficient operation of the Division, Department, and City.

· Assist other splash pad attendants with tasks as directed.

· Assist coworkers and patrons with identifying and addressing other customer service concerns.

· Ability to enforce safety rules and guidelines.

· Ability to assist patrons with concerns, questions and in the event of incidents and/or accidents.

· Ability to monitor facility for trash and debris cleanup and to perform maintenance.

· Ability to ensure that facility is disinfected and kept clean.

· Ability to follow and enforce established policy and procedures throughout the facility.

· Ability to assist coworkers and patrons with identifying and addressing other customer service concerns

. · Ability to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification(s):

Experience

· Must be at least 18 years of age;

· Must have prior customer service experience;

· Must be able to work independently.

· Valid Colorado Driver’s License

Physical Activities: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee will travel within the City of Cañon City and Fremont County

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee performs work outside, under varying and extreme weather conditions.

· Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds).

· Work may involve standing for long periods of time.

· Communicates verbally with City staff, outside agencies and the public in one-on-one settings, group settings and over the telephone.
