Job Description:
The Community Partner Liaison/Recruiter is a crucial player in the execution and success of the Starpoint mission. This role oversees the relationships between Starpoint and various businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, educational institutions, and community organizations with the goal of both developing and nurturing strong community partnerships. The Community Partner Liaison/Recruiter is also responsible for implementing recruitment and hiring strategies that effectively generate Direct Support Professional candidates. This will be achieved through sourcing candidates and conducting prescreens and interviews. This position will directly impact our growth and plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizes recruitment tools and executes recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality candidates who meet immediate and projected needs.
- Determines applicant qualifications by reviewing resumes and conducting prescreens and reference checks.
- Maintains rapport with the candidate through the hiring process.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures as well as company goals and objectives.
- Contributes to goal setting, process improvement and achievement of Starpoint Salida.
- Promotes open communication between all departments.
- Demonstrates professional behavior and always serves as a role model to staff.
- Represent the organization at community meetings and events.
- Identify and cultivate connections with community stakeholders to increase development and recruitment resources.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college preferred.
- Able to work non-traditional, flexible hours.
- Must have own telephone or message phone in order to be reached.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license.
- Personal auto insurance on file.
- 1 –2 years of work experience preferred.
- Recruiting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Ability to take ownership of challenges for a satisfying resolution.
