Do you enjoy the fast-paced world of Sales? Estes Industries is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our team. The right candidate will have strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, and a proactive attitude with a passion for accuracy, details, and customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills are also very important.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work effectively on a cross-functional team ensuring everyday customer satisfaction
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team
- Communicate account feedback to sales teams
- Ability to multi-task and work with various account contacts throughout the course of a workday
- Update customer database records as needed
- Receive and enter customer orders into the ERP.
- Review the orders to make sure they are complete and correct (terms, ship to, price per item, total value of order, etc.), and comply with appropriate customer agreement
- Resolve order issues with customer / shipping / sales representative
- Monitor changes in vendor portals (new shipping guide, for example) and updating vendor portals (i.e., certificate of insurance, new users)
- Generate open order reports for sales and for customers
- Manage and follow-up on internal request for inventory status
- File customer contracts, agreements and reports
- Develop and maintains excellent customer relationships
- Resolve customer questions quickly and efficiently
- Assist accounting department in investigating payment discrepancies
- Manage, support and facilitate additional projects as required
- Assist in development of customer presentations, mtg prep and subsequent follow-up
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- 3+ years’ experience in a high-level customer account management or customer service role.
- Tech Savvy—heavy navigation through customer portals and Estes company systems.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, etc.).
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in customer account management.
- Demonstrated experience in sales; experience as a Sales Coordinator or in other administrative support positions will be considered a plus.
