Job Description

Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $20-$25/hr.

Location: Salida, CO.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming and positive customer experience . You will assist customers in finding the products they need, provide product knowledge, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and welcome.
  • Assist customers with product selection, provide recommendations, and answer inquiries.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to team sales targets.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products and services to effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
  • Handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including processing payments, returns, and exchanges.
  • Ensure the warehouse & counter is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Participate in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting cycle counts.
  • Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, including tidying displays, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and loss prevention.
  • Actively engage with customers to build relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive, energetic, and motivating work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and experience with cash handling.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
