Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $25-$45/hr. 

Location: Poncha Springs, CO.

Job Description:

Salary: Commencing at $25 per hour with the opportunity to qualify for a Bonus Program, potentially reaching up to $45 per hour. (Dependent on experience and efficiency) Work Hours: Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm, Saturdays 8am-3pm

Job Description:

Holiday RV, a reputable and customer-focused RV dealership, is seeking a skilled and experienced RV Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing top-notch service to our customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining recreational vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues with RV systems, engines, and appliances. Perform necessary repairs and replacements to ensure optimal functionality. Must have the ability to prepare estimates for RV repair for customer repairs, insurance and warranty companies
  • Routine Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to oil changes, brake adjustments, tire rotations, and other preventive measures to keep RVs in excellent condition.
  • Electrical and Plumbing Systems: Proficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems in RVs, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Appliance Servicing: Repair and service various RV appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners, heaters, and water heaters, etc.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand and document issues, provide service estimates, and keep them informed about the status of their RV repairs. Must also be able to do orientations with customers including: a walk through of their newly purchased RV and show customers how to properly use and maintain the RV.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. Complete service reports and documentation in a timely and organized manner.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including service advisors and parts department, to streamline the repair process and enhance overall customer experience.

Requirements:

Experience:

Proven experience as an RV Technician/Mechanic with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing RV systems.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in RV maintenance and repair are highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Understanding of RV electrical and plumbing systems.

Customer Service:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and provide clear explanations of repairs and maintenance.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
