About the Role:
This position maybe filled with CMA RN or LPN
- Clinic RN: Works within the full scope of RN practice, providing direct patient care, including collecting patient information, supporting evaluations, administering treatments and medications, and educating patients. The RN plays a key role in ensuring high-quality nursing care, exceptional customer service, and real-time resolution of patient concerns with the support of the department manager.
- Clinic LPN: Provides care under the direction of an RN, assisting patients from the moment they arrive. The LPN plays a vital role in patient assessments, collecting and reporting health data, observing for changes in condition, and notifying the RN or physician of deviations. This position ensures quality nursing care, effective patient communication, and seamless coordination of care.
- Clinic CMA: Performs a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks, making them a vital partner in improving medical office productivity. CMAs assist patients from the moment they enter the clinic by collecting patient information, documenting in the electronic health record, answering phones, scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and arranging hospital admissions and auxiliary services. CMAs also prepare patients for examinations, assist providers during exams, and perform other clinical tasks under the supervision of an RN and physician.
Education & Experience:
- RN: Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- LPN: Graduate of an approved vocational licensed practical nurse program.
- CMA: Current and active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
- All Positions: Must be current and in good standing with applicable licensing boards.
Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:
- RN: Must maintain a current, active RN license in the State of Colorado or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- LPN: Must maintain a current, active LPN license in the State of Colorado.
- CMA: Must maintain a current, active CMA certification.
- All Positions: BLS Certification required (must be current).
