What You’ll Do:

  • Triage Expertise: Effectively triage all patients to determine the appropriate level of care needed.
  • Multi-tasking Excellence: Manage multiple priorities with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients, using the nursing process to intervene appropriately and ensure optimal care.
  • Delegation & Team Collaboration: Provide direct patient care while delegating appropriate tasks to unlicensed personnel.
  • Documentation & Supervision: Accurately document patient care and provide supervision, demonstrating proficiency with electronic health records (CPSI and T-System).
  • Coordinating Care: Coordinate services from other departments to ensure comprehensive care for ED patients.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of one year in acute care experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
  • Must maintain current CPR 
  • Must maintain current ACLS certification. Must maintain current TNCC certification.
  • Must maintain current ENPC or PALS certification NRP certification recommended.
