  • Clinic RN: Works within the full scope of RN practice, providing direct patient care, including collecting patient information, supporting evaluations, administering treatments and medications, and educating patients. The RN plays a key role in ensuring high-quality nursing care, exceptional customer service, and real-time resolution of patient concerns with the support of the department manager.

Role Overview

A Clinic RN works within the scope of their nursing practice to deliver quality patient care in a clinical setting, collaborating with physicians, specialists, and care teams to support both short-term and long-term patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Patient Care & Evaluation

    • Collect and document patient information upon arrival.
    • Support patient evaluations by assisting in clinical assessments.
    • Administer treatments and medications as per medical directives.
  2. Patient Education

    • Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment plans, and medication regimens.
    • Ensure patients understand post-care instructions and follow-up requirements.
  3. Customer Service & Advocacy

    • Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families.
    • Facilitate the resolution of any patient concerns, escalating to the department manager as needed.
  4. Collaboration

    • Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
    • Maintain open communication within the team to ensure seamless patient care.
  5. Administrative Duties

    • Document all nursing activities and patient interactions accurately.
    • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and standards.
