Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $26-$35/hr. 

Location: Buena Vista, CO.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, update and maintain engineering drawings and incorporate redlines and field markups into drawings.
  • Ability to demonstrate a understanding of accurate drafting methods, layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports and scaling.
  • Ability to extract 2D and Isometric shop drawings from Revit file.
  • Create comprehensive shop drawings from Revit files, plan sets and specifications.
  • Work with the shop floor and other Revit Drafting Staff and Lead engineers to continuously improve the quality of shop drawings.
  • Maintain Rev Control on shop drawing documents.
  • Export data from Revit files to create CAM files for factory equipment.
  • Import different trade files and perform collision control services.
  • Update models to reflect as-built conditions.
  • Determine production needs and work with other supporting staff to implement changes and improvements.
  • Document processes and procedures or drawings where needed.
  • Assist with training and cross training individuals.
  • Reduce waste and address production issues to keep the installation line running smoothly.
  • Evaluate data to implement improvements in production and supporting processes.
  • Support the needs of production, engineering, safety, purchasing and/or maintenance and take on special projects when assigned.
  • Support daily operations of the modular home factory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate Degree in CAD Technology or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum three years AutoCAD and REVIT experience with advance training/experience in current AutoCAD software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Data analytics skills and experience. Attention to detail.
  • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.

REQUIREMENTS

  • In-Person (this position cannot be performed remotely)
  • This role requires signing a confidentiality agreement, intellectual property rights agreement, and non-compete and non-disclosure agreement
  • Background check results that meet Fading West’s standards
  • Reference check that speaks to the positive character of the applicant
  • May be required to regularly stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, lift or carry more than 50 pounds, climb/balance on stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be competent and comfortable in basic computer skills and navigating modern technology

COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate Range: $26.00 to $35.00 per/hour (Rate commensurate with experience) Fading West rigorously adheres to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-201(1)
