Help Create Life Change Through Second Chances
At New Horizons Thrift Stores, our cause is to help create life change through second chances, one purchase, one life at a time. As a Warehouse Manager, you’ll be a part of that mission by overseeing all backroom and warehouse operations to support the smooth flow of donated goods through the store. This position plays a key role in ensuring that donations are processed efficiently, and donor experiences are positive.
At the Canon City location, it is the Warehouse Manager’s responsibility to ensure that store departments—such as clothing, shoes, linens, and furniture—have the materials they need to keep sales moving.
Additional tasks may be assigned at times by your supervisor. Consideration will be given to your current workload and duties.

- Positive Experience: Represent the thrift store’s mission through excellent customer service. Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude—your approach sets the tone of how donors perceive our organization.
- Donation Acceptance: Use good judgment when evaluating items for acceptance. Kindly decline items that are not sellable, or offer disposal for a reasonable fee (e.g., $35 for a sofa). If in doubt, consult with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Furniture Manager.
