About Us

Welcome to old-world grandeur with comfy, sumptuous updates that celebrate the spirit of good times, delicious food and great friends. We’ve designed a space and a place where top-rated, lively dining experiences unfold, inside and out. This is where people connect and indulge in every detail, every moment – in a truly special, historic destination, in total comfort and style.

Launching in May 2026, our brand new Antithesis restaurant lives within the historic Royal Gorge Mansion (formerly the Robison Mansion, built it in the 1880s). Located in the Royal Gorge Region, Colorado (Cañon City), situated north of Westcliffe and east of Salida, Antithesis and the Royal Gorge Mansion are perfectly positioned at the mouth of THE Royal Gorge canyon on a pristine historic 4-acre property enclosed by a stunning circa-1880 iron fence with upwards of 80 trees, an historic fountain surrounded by cozy firepits and beautifully maintained grounds.

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, calm, and highly organized Expeditor (Expo) to act as the vital link between the kitchen and the dining room. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes are prepared, plated, and delivered with precision and excellence. As the communication hub for back-of-house and front-of-house, your focus is on timing, presentation, and flow, upholding the highest standards of service and cuisine.

  • Communicate clearly and assertively to both BOH and FOH teams regarding order status, modifications, and pacing.
  • Monitor ticket times and adjust firing calls to maintain flow and synchronization during service.

Quality Control & Presentation

  • Inspect all plates before they leave the pass, checking for consistency, proper garnishes, and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate the correct sequence of dishes (course-by-course) and ensure modifications/allergies are respected.
  • Prevent errors or miscommunications that can impact guest satisfaction or cause service delays.

Guest Experience Support

  • Support servers and all service staff by ensuring food is delivered promptly and accurately.
  • Work closely with chefs and management to support timing for special tables, VIPs, and large parties.
  • Help create a seamless and elegant dining experience through attention to tempo and detail.

Education/Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Prior experience in a restaurant preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in a high-end restaurant, preferably in an expeditor, server assistant, or runner role.

Knowledge

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and maintain composure during high-volume service.

Preferred

  • Understanding fine dining etiquette, pacing, and guest experience.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and kitchen display systems (e.g., Toast, Aloha).
  • Knowledge of food safety, allergies, and common plating standards.

Working Conditions/Essential Job Functions

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Jewelry should be limited and not detract from a professional appearance or interfere with job performance. The following guidelines have been established:
