Job Description:
Registered Nurse Specialty Clinic- Part-time position available in the clinic. Average of 24 hours per week.
Benefits available are: medical, dental, vision, PTO, sick bank pay, and Worker's Compensation.
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license/current RN license from a participating state in a National License Compact.
- AHA BLS and PALS certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience required in the health care setting, preferred
- Experience working in a highly service-oriented environment where metrics and measurement tools are leveraged to assess results. Experience working with multiple service lines.
- Occupational Health experience recommended
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, employees, physicians, and allied health professionals.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory functions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to interpret information related to patient age-related needs.
The Clinic's Registered Nurse works under the Clinic Director to assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care during clinic hours. The Registered Nurse works as part of a health care team, including physicians, NP/PAs, patient service representatives, medical records, medical assistants, and health educators, to provide comprehensive care in a non-judgmental manner.

- Ensure the success of daily back-office operations, including but not limited to Medical Assistant staffing, patient flow, visit productivity, billing, EHR documentation, and the overall patient experience.
- Assist providers with in-clinic procedures (wound care, injections, cystoscopy)
- Prepares daily exam rooms in the clinical area for patient care, including stocking all necessary supplies
- Triage patient calls for pharmacy requests, test results, medical questions, and concerns as directed by the physician.
