Job Description

Job Type: PRN, Hourly

Wage: $37.45-$46.72/hr.

Location: Trinidad, CO.

Job Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for patient care including assessment, treatment, discharge planning, education and other duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Current Colorado Registered Nurse License

2 -5 years acute care nursing experience preferred

 

EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current BCLS

Current ACLS, PALS/ENPC or completion within six months

Basic EKG/telemetry course completion within 1 month of hire.

 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Continuous movement throughout the hospital

Intermittent bending, kneeling, and squatting

Continuous standing (up to 7 hours)

Ability to lift up to 30% of your body weight

Ability to read and understand English

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to interact with physicians, patients, families and staff in a professional

manner in stressful situations.

Ability to maintain matters of a confidential nature

Ability to remain calm in crisis situations

Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations
