POSITION SUMMARY
Delivery is King. The Receiving Clerk adds value by ensuring incoming raw materials are counted, recorded, received, and put away in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Ensures timely delivery of received materials, distributes to point of use, and puts away in correct location.
- Processes incoming receipts within ERP system and proactively communicates issues to purchasing team.
- Frequently assists with material handling responsibilities at the direction of the Materials Manager.
- Maintains various supply chain related reports in ERP system.
- Keep receiving area organized.
- Assists with inventory counts and facility related tasks as needed.
- Processes defective and other returned goods.
- Provides timely communication of any inventory related issues.
- Assists with the out-bound waste stream.
- Assists with finished goods storage.
- Assisting the Material Handlers when needed
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of receiving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience receiving goods in a computerized system.
- Experience with inventory management methodologies strongly preferred.
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification and have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely and comfortably and perform other physical aspects of the job.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks with minimal oversight.
