Job Description

The Quality Assurance Administrator is an integral part of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Team. This role is key to supporting the success of this team by providing administrative support and handling all paperwork and documentation needed for both internal and external quality processes. Through helping to organize much of the information, processes, and data within the Quality assurance team this role helps Fading West accomplish its mission of creating quality homes for the workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, process, and analyze statistical data pertaining to our quality assurance process to create metrics that inform and guide efficient processes within the Quality Assurance team.
  • Review customer complaints pertaining to our finished products and compile the data for risk assessment review
  • Create and maintain quality assurance databases
  • Create and maintain reporting metrics
  • Process a significant amount of internal Fading West quality documents and manage the flow of this paperwork and information internally
  • Collect and submit appropriate documentation to the state and other external entities
  • Promote and advocate a culture of quality within the team
  • Inspect and test materials, sub-assemblies and finished products
  • Read design drawings and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
  • Communicate the results of inspections and assist with corrective actions
  • Assist with implementing new QA traveler and manual and integrate all plant documents into new system and manage new system when complete.
  • Conduct audits (internal and external) for process compliance
  • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
  • Compile customer survey data as required.
  • Data entry into ERP system as required
  • Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience performing construction inspections preferred
  • Quality control inspection experience in any industry
  • Ability to read design and production drawings
  • Strong regard for quality assurance
  • Extremely detail-orientated with strong ability to review and analyze data
  • Working knowledge of construction industry products, processes and building systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to train others effectively
  • Degree in Construction Technology, Engineering or equivalent preferred

REQUIREMENTS

  • In-Person positions with potential for periodic remote work
  • This role requires signing a confidentiality agreement, intellectual property rights agreement, and non-compete and non-disclosure agreement
  • Background check results that meet Fading West’s standards
  • Reference check that speaks to the positive character of the applicant
  • May be required to regularly stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, lift or carry more than 50 pounds, climb/balance on stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be competent and comfortable in basic computer skills and navigating modern technology

COMPENSATION

Rate Range: $26.00 to $30 per/hour (Rate commensurate with experience) Fading West rigorously adheres to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-201(1)
