Job Description:
3 Rocks Engineering & Surveying is seeking an
incredibly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Engineer (E4) to join our
Colorado Springs office. The successful candidate will be a creative
problem-solver who knows how to tackle unique, high-value civil engineering
challenges with innovative solutions.
This role serves as a vital technical authority and
mentor within the firm. The successful candidate will lead complex design
efforts and provide the high-level expertise necessary to guide a growing team
of engineers and drafters.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Creative
Problem Solving: Use deep expertise to tackle unique and specific
engineering issues with creative solutions that bring high value to
clients.
- Technical
Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring the highest level of
technical excellence across all project designs.
- Team
Supervision: Serve as the direct supervisor for less experienced engineers
and drafters, helping to shape the next generation of 3 Rocks talent.
- Project
Leadership: Act as a team leader, taking responsibility for design
excellence and guiding staff through the project lifecycle.
- Strategic
Support: Collaborate with the Team Leader to represent the firm's
technical prowess to the local community.
GOTTA HAVE IT
- Experience:
16+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Education:
BS or greater in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Certification:
Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Expertise:
A proven track record of handling complex civil engineering design
challenges independently and a high level of proficiency in guiding
technical staff specifically on site development projects.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary:
$110,000 – $140,000 annual salary (based on full-time status).
