As the Production Books Manager, you’ll be part of that mission by leading the process that turns donated books and media into clean, organized, high-quality inventory ready for resale.

Key Result Areas
Sorting and Cleaning
- Sort incoming book and media donations by category, quality, and resale value
- Recycle items that do not meet our standards for sale
- Clean and dust books using approved tools and methods
- Remove stickers, markings, or damaged covers when appropriate
Pricing and Product Flow
- Accurately price books based on established guidelines and category criteria
- Organize priced inventory into bins or carts for transfer to the retail team
- Maintain consistent product flow to meet retail demand
Work Area Management
- Keep the books processing area clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in regular workspace cleaning
- Notify supervisor of tool malfunctions, safety concerns, or workflow barriers
Team Collaboration
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with other team members and leadership
- Support other production departments as needed based on team priorities
- Demonstrate consistency, reliability, and a positive work ethic
