Job Description

Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $18-$28/hr.

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing services, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of plumbing systems. This is a hands-on role that requires professionalism, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, pipe breaks, water heaters, and fixtures
  • Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and other plumbing components
  • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings
  • Interpret blueprints and building codes to ensure correct installation and compliance
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding the scope of work, pricing, and timelines
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions
  • Use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Provide emergency response and after-hours service as needed
  • Adhere to all safety policies, local plumbing codes, and company standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a plumbing technician
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and repair techniques
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs, working in tight spaces, and performing physically demanding tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with gas line installation/repair
  • Backflow certification
  • HVAC or other mechanical trade experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish/ English) is a plus
