Position Summary
HRRMC is seeking a compassionate, team-minded Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Internal Medicine clinic. This role is primarily adult outpatient primary care with a focus on chronic disease care, preventive services, and timely access for acute needs. We welcome both experienced APPs and well-prepared new graduates who are eager to grow in a supportive environment.

Qualifications
Education: MSN/NP (FNP or Adult/Gero) or graduate of an accredited PA program
Licensure/Certifications: Eligible for Colorado licensure; national certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA); prescriptive authority/DEA (or eligibility);
BLS required (ACLS preferred)
Experience: Internal Medicine/Primary Care experience preferred; new grads with strong adult health training are encouraged to apply.
Skills: Excellent clinical reasoning, team communication, and patient education; comfort balancing independence with collaboration

What You’ll Do :
· Provide comprehensive adult primary care: histories/physicals, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, HTN, COPD, CKD), preventive care, and acute visits
· Coordinate transitions of care (hospital/ED follow-ups)
· Perform common clinic procedures within scope and training (e.g., joint injections, simple dermatologic procedures, EKG interpretation)
· Document accurately and close charts in a timely manner; practice evidence-based medicine and patient-centered communication
· Participate in clinic quality/process-improvement efforts and team meetings
