Job Type: Part time, Hourly

Wage: $16/hr. 

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and skilled individual to join our team as a Part-Time Photographer/Videographer/Editor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs and video and performing post-production editing to ensure visual excellence. This position requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency with photography and videography equipment and editing software, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Photography/Videography:

● Capture compelling and visually appealing photographs and video clips in various settings, adhering to creative and project-specific guidelines.

● Set up and adjust camera equipment, lighting, and composition to achieve the desired results.

● Ensure all necessary equipment is in working order and maintain cleanliness and functionality.

Editing:

● Perform post-production editing, including color correction, retouching, cropping, and enhancing images and video to meet project specifications.

● Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and provide creative input during the editing process.

● Manage and organize a digital library of photographs, video clips, and edited files.

Equipment Management:

● Maintain and organize photo/video equipment, ensuring it is properly stored and ready for use.

● Report any equipment issues and coordinate with the team to address repairs or replacements.

Communication and Collaboration:

● Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to understand the vision and requirements for each project.

● Communicate effectively to ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback.

Time Management:

● Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results within specified timeframes.

● Be flexible with coordinating office hours and field hours which may vary week to week.

Office Responsibilities:

● Print and package photo orders placed online.

● Make deliveries to the post office as needed.

● Track inventory of office and printing supplies.

Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a photographer/videographer, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of styles

● Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).

● Strong knowledge of photography/videography equipment, lighting techniques, and composition principles.

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

● Flexibility to work on a part-time basis, with availability for evening or weekend assignments as needed.

● Part 107 Drone license preferred, but not required (you will have to be licensed to fly a drone with Ground2Air Productions and we can assist with your licensure.)

Education and Experience:

● High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in photography/videography is a plus.

● A valid driver’s license proof of citizenship or work visa.

● Previous experience as a photographer/videographer and proficiency in photo editing software.

● Familiarity with different photography styles.

This Part-Time Photographer/Videographer/Editor position offers a fairly flexible schedule and the opportunity to contribute to creative projects in a dynamic environment.
