Job Description
The Chaffee County Department of Public Health has a temporary, grant-funded, full-time position as a Home Sharing Coordinator.
This position will be responsible for the oversight of a pilot program between Chaffee County Public Health and the Chaffee Housing Authority that pairs older adults with capacity in their home (the "home provider") with someone in need of longer-term housing (the "home seeker") in hopes of providing greater options for affordable housing and opportunities for the home provider to age in place in Chaffee County.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or public health or similar. Applicant must pass a pre-employment range motion screening as well as a drug screening.
Annual salary of $54,000; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurances, disability, retirement plan, paid leaves and holidays.
