Job Type: Full time, Part time, Salaried

Wage: $44,463 - $50,701/yr.  

Location: Salida, CO.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch care to furry companions as well as to their owners.

Duties
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets' coats
- Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and compassion
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Provide basic care such as nail trimming and ear cleaning
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
- Monitor pets for health issues and report any concerns to the appropriate staff

Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet grooming or animal care is required
- Ability to lift heavy pets and equipment
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Certification or training in pet grooming is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Experience in dog handling, kennel work, veterinary technician roles, or dog training is beneficial
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $44,463.00 - $50,701.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
