Key Responsibilities

* Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Greet patients, visitors, physicians, and staff promptly and professionally.
  • Deliver exemplary service using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You) principles, inspiring confidence and promoting a positive image of HRRMC.
  • Manage multiple interactions seamlessly and handle emergencies with calm professionalism.
  • Stay informed about practice schedules, services, and provider information to assist patients effectively.

* Accurate and Efficient Registration:

  • Maintain a minimum of 95% registration accuracy, ensuring patient information is entered correctly and consistently.
  • Complete patient registrations swiftly (within 5 minutes on average) to optimize patient flow.
  • Verify and update demographics, insurance, and primary care physician details during every encounter.
  • Confirm insurance eligibility and tactfully collect copays or deposits at the time of service.

* Comprehensive Documentation:

  • Obtain and verify patient identification, including photo ID and insurance cards.
  • Educate patients about the value of the patient portal and assist with account setup.
  • Provide required documentation such as the Patient Privacy Statement and Bill of Rights.
  • Gather necessary consents, including treatment authorization and communication preferences.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school degree, plus a minimum of three years of responsible business experience, preferably in a public relations, healthcare setting, or other professional setting.
